Launch of The National
Started website in Middle East
As a member of the launch team for The National, an English-language newspaper based in Abu Dhabi, I worked as a reporter, sub-editor and online news editor as the project went from a start-up to one of the major news sources in the Middle East.

As chief sub-editor on one of the UK’s most read newspapers since 2011, I have helped cover major events including Covid-19, three UK elections, the EU referendum, the Brexit negotiations, the rise and fall of Islamic State, terror attacks in Westminster and Manchester and happier events such as the 2012 Olympics. I have also contributed articles to Metro.co.uk.
